- My name is Dona and I am a student at West Oahu and a teacher at a Head Start program. I actually started working for Head Start in July as an assistant teacher; unfortunately, the former teacher decided to leave the program and I officially took over as the teacher in November. I know what you're thinking - how the heck did that happen? Well, it's a long story so I won't get to it. All I can say is it has reaffirmed my commitment to the field of ECE. What can I say...I love my kids!
